At The Muslimat NU XVIII Congress That Prabowo Subianto Will Attend, Hizbiyah Rochim Encourages Regeneration

JAKARTA Regeneration is a necessity in an organization. Likewise in the NU Muslimat environment which will hold the XVIII Congress in Surabaya (11-16 February 2025). In the congress event to be attended by President Prabowo Subianto, the chairman of the PW Muslimat NU DKI Jakarta, Hizbiyah Rochim, encouraged regeneration in the post-congress management.

"Congress is the highest event in the organization that is carried out regularly. In this event, we hope that Muslimat youth cadres spread across various places can emerge and be supported by congressional constituents, so that they can continue the leadership relay in the organization," said Hizbiyah Rochim to the media on the sidelines of the Muslimat NU Jakarta Leadership Training event, Sunday (26/1/2025).

When asked who the young figures have the potential to fill important positions in the post-Kongres XVIII Muslimat later, he said, "Muslimat NU has many qualified and multi-talented cadres in various fields. If given the opportunity, I'm sure they can afford it," he continued.

"I think there are many cadres worthy of being the General Chair of the NU Muslimat. Among them are Siti Aniroh Slamet Effendy, Ulfah Mashfufah, Zannuba Arifah Chafsoh Wahid, Arifah Choiri Fauzi, and many others," said Hizbiyah on the sidelines of the training event.

Cadre Consolidation

Congress as an organizational regeneration event, said Hizbiyah, could also be a place for the consolidation of cadres. This leadership training is carried out in order to welcome the NU XVIII Muslimat Congress in Surabaya which is planned to be attended by the President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto. The purpose of this activity is as a gathering and consolidation of human resources (HR), as well as a forum for cadres to produce NU Muslimat leaders at every level so that they are ready to plunge in the midst of society," he explained.

This activity in collaboration with BAZNAS DKI Jakarta was attended by representatives from Muslimat NU PCs throughout Jakarta (Central Jakarta, West Jakarta, North Jakarta, South Jakarta, East Jakarta, and the Thousand Islands).

Siti Aniroh Slamet Effendy, representing PP Muslimat NU, appreciates this activity as a space to create reliable cadres who are ready to carry out da'wah and strengthen the values of Ahlussunnah waljamaah. This training can also be a trigger so that NU DKI Jakarta Muslims can be present in digital spaces in carrying out their activities in the future. Hopefully an event like this can be carried out regularly," he hoped.

Muslimat NU itself has explored cooperation with various ministries and institutions regarding education, health, and nutrition to become the next management's legacy. "In the future the challenges will be even tougher. Hopefully, young Muslimat cadres can prepare their respective competencies to win the competition," said Hizbiyah Rochim.
