Uploading Vokal Take Video, Laufey Seduces Fans For Third Studio Album

JAKARTA - jazz singer Laufey teased fans through a 13-second video uploaded on Instagram. In casual clothes, the Icelandese-Chinese soloist was seen taking vocals at the room studio.

In his statement, the 25-year-old singer gave a code for his third studio album which has not been titled.

(hour emoji) #laufey3, Laufey wrote, citing an upload caption, Sunday, January 26.

However, from the short video, it is not illustrated how the new song Laufey will present. He only sang a few pieces of the song without a musical accompaniment.

It didn't stop there, via Instagram Story, the singer of 'From the Start' re-uploaded a picture of a fan parable that likened fans to a puppy who surrounded Laufey as a person wearing a dog costume.

Laufey teased through laufey3, the caption for the upload reads.

Through the comments column, fans also expressed their enthusiasm for welcoming Laufey's latest album.

"I can't wait for Laufey 3," wrote one fan.

"Ohh we are so ready," said another fan.

"Wait patiently (heart emoji)," wrote another fan.

Meanwhile, Laufey's first studio album, 'Everything I Know About Love', debuted in October 2022. Some of Laufey's favorite listeners' songs, including Falling Behind', Valentine, Fragile, and Beautiful Stranger.

Then, the second studio album titled "Bewitched" was launched in September 2023, with flagship songs, such as From the Start, Bewitched, Promise, to Letter to My 13 Years Old Self.

The second studio album also comes in an extended edition, "Bewitched: The Goddess Edition", with four additional songs, namely Bored, Trouble, It Could Happen to You, and Goddess.

The album "Bewitched" has brought Laufey into a phenomenon as quoted from a review on the Billboard a figure who succeeded in bringing jazz to the Gen Z circle.

Through the album, Laufey can tour around the world, and perform on iconic venues, such as The Hollywood Bowl in California, Royal Albert Hall in London, Carnegie Hall in New York, to L'Astral in Montreal.
