Grobogan Rail Route Is Cut Off, 10 Semarang Daop Train Trips Are Temporarily Canceled
PT KAI recorded that 10 train trips to the rail line at the crossing between Gubug Station and Karangjati Station in Grobogan Regency, Central Java, which were cut off again normally.
"The cancellation of the trip from January 26, 2025 until the rail line in Grobogan has been normalized," said Public Relations Manager of PT KAI Daop 4 Semarang Franoto Wibowo in Semarang, quoted from ANTARA, Sunday, January 26.
The trains whose trips were canceled included the Java Blora Train, Additional Sembrani Trains, Kedung Sempur Train and Tegal Bahari Train.
PT KAI, he continued, is also still implementing a rotating operation pattern for KA with the Semarang-Surabaya route.
According to him, there were 28 train trips whose travel routes were diverted by rotating engineering.
He explained that the engineering of rotating train trips was not only through the Brumbungan-Gundir-Gambringan and Solo routes, but also diverted through Yogyakarta-Purwokerto-Cirebon.
"The two Argo Bromo Anggrek trains for the Jakarta-Surabaya connection were rotated through Yogyakarta-Purwokerto," he said.

Currently, he continued, PT KAI is focusing on mobilizing heavy equipment to the location of the rail line which has again been eroded by river water due to the broken embankment.
"The emergency response team filled sacks with Kricak stones, prepared concrete pads, and made embankments with heavy equipment," he said.
PT KAI apologizes for the inconvenience experienced by customers due to the disaster.
"We are working with various parties to accelerate handling in disaster-affected locations," he said.
