Swedish Foreigners In Sanur Beat Women After Being Served On A Date, Angry About Being Charged Rp. 800 Thousand
DENPASAR - A foreign national (WNA) from Sweden named David (44) was arrested by the South Denpasar Police Team, in the Sanur area, Bali.
The Swedish foreigner was arrested for allegedly beating and threatening a woman with the initials AP (29) with a sharp weapon and an air softgun type pistol. This persecution took place at a villa in the Sanur area, Denpasar on Monday, March 22 evening.
"David did not want to transfer the money. Then he was charged and the reported was angry and did this (persecution)," said Head of Criminal Investigation of South Denpasar Police, AKP Hadimastika, Karsito Putro, on a call, Monday, April 19.
The beatings occurred after the perpetrator slept with the victim twice. Then, when the victim asked for payment of Rp. 800 thousand. But the Swedish foreigner was angry and instead abused the victim.
The incident began when the victim was contacted by a friend of the perpetrator named Robert. The victim was asked to come to the location to accompany him to drink and the victim agreed as long as he was paid Rp. 800 thousand.
At the location, the victim accompanied Robert to drink, including David. Towards morning, the victim was invited to have sex twice by David, a Swedish foreigner.
After serving the perpetrator, the victim asked David for Rp. 800 thousand. But David did not want to transfer the money and questioned why the victim asked him for money.
Next, David ordered the victim to ask Robert for money. But the victim replied that she slept with David. David then got angry and hit the victim in the face several times.
"The victim was hit several times in the face, head, neck and left hand with his bare hands in a clenched position. Also strangled the victim's neck and the reported pointed a gun to the victim's face and pointed a knife to the victim's neck," said AKP Karsito Putro.
The women who were victims reported to the South Denpasar Police. Now Swedish foreigners are undergoing intensive examinations.
"It has been secured and processed," said AKP Hadimastika.
