Three Regional Heads In Kaltara Inaugurated February 6

TANJUNG SELOR - Three pairs of regional heads in North Kalimantan (Kaltara) are confirmed that the General Election (KPU) of Kaltara will be inaugurated by President Prabowo Subianto on February 6.

The Technical Division of the Implementation of the Kaltara KPU Chairulliza said the three candidate pairs that had been determined were the pair of Governor and Deputy Governor Zainal Arifin Paliwang Ingkong Ala, Regent and Deputy Regent of Bulungan Regency, Sarwani Lightning. The Regent and Deputy Regent of Malinau Regency, Wempi W Mawa Jakaria.

"The three pairs of regional heads have been determined by the Kaltara KPU and we have sent them to the Bulungan and Malinau DPRDs. We have also submitted the governors and deputys to the Provincial DPRD. Everything has also been submitted to the Ministry of Home Affairs," said the man who is familiarly called Rully, Friday, January 24.

Currently, there are still 3 pairs of regional heads who are not included in the list of inaugurations on February 6, 2025.

"That is the Regent and Deputy Regent of Tana Tidung Regency (Ibrahim Ali 'Sabri), the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Tarakan (Khairul Ibnu Saud) and the Regent and Deputy Regent of Nunukan Regency, (Irwan Sabri 'Hermanus)," he explained.

"This is the regional head who is still facing a lawsuit in the Constitutional Court (Mahkamah Konstitusi) so that they have not been inaugurated until the announcement of the results of the interim decision trial on February 11, 2025," he continued.

Rully said, if the Constitutional Court decides to be dismissal, then the case is terminated, and a decree is issued to form the basis for the KPU to determine and inaugurate.

On the other hand, if the Constitutional Court decides on a further process, then the case will be included in the proof of the respondent and the applicant.

"The Kaltara KPU is also still waiting for all the decisions between the Constitutional Court," he said.
