Telkom Indonesia's Strategy To Face The 2025 Jumbo Dividend Policy
JAKARTA - PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM) has prepared a number of strategies to balance investment plans with an increase in the dividend target to the state treasury by 2025. This is because the dividends set this year amounted to IDR 90 trillion.
The target refers to Presidential Regulation (Perpres) Number 201 of 2024 concerning the Details of the 2025 State Budget. The dividend target of IDR 90 trillion increased by around 4.85 percent from 2024, which is IDR 85.84 trillion.
Telkom VP Corporate Communication Andri Herawan Sasoko said he was optimistic that he could contribute to realizing the dividend deposit target to the country's cash.
Along with that, Andri also ensured that the company had designed a strategy to maintain a balance between the increase in dividends and investment plans this year.
"Financial performance until the third quarter of 2024 gives a positive signal. This shows that the dividend target for the government can still be met while continuing the capex plan for investment," he said when met in Jakarta, Friday, January 24.
Andri admitted that the net profit allocation had also been prepared to ensure that the investment plan continued without disrupting the dividend target. The company has also included an investment strategy into the company's business plan.
