Investigate Corruption Cases Of Fictitious Village Maps, Korek Prosecutor's Office Information All Village Heads In South Sumatra Lahat

The Prosecutor's Office asked for information from all village heads (kades) in Lahat, South Sumatra (Sumsel) in the process of investigating cases of alleged corruption in the fictitious protection of village maps for the 2023 fiscal year.

"Yes, to handle this case, we ask for information from all village heads in the Lahat Regency area," said Head of the Lahat District Attorney's Office, Toto Roedianto in Lahat, Friday, January 24, confiscated by Antara.

He said the examination was carried out in stages and was a series of processes for collecting evidence by the Investigative Team to shed light on a criminal act to find the most responsible party in the activity.

The investigation of this case is a form of effort not only to eradicate corruption in Lahat Regency but also to restore state financial losses.

Previously on January 22, 2025, his party also examined 50 witnesses in the case.

As for now, the Lahat Kejari investigators have examined as many as 190 witnesses in handling cases of alleged corruption in fictitious activities in making village maps for the 2023 fiscal year.
