Grudge With Animal Words, Kuli In Buleleng Kills Grandma Mintan

BULELENG - The Buleleng Police Team, Bali, revealed the death of a grandmother named Ketut Mintaning (64) alias Mrs. Mintan.

The victim was apparently killed by a man named Yoni Jatmiko (29) alias Yoni who is a construction worker from Mlinjeng Village, Sumberrejo District, Bojonegoro Regency, East Java.

Meanwhile, the victim was known to live alone in the victim's stall selling food and soft drinks.

"From the results of the investigation it was true that there was a suspicion of the murder of the victim," said Buleleng Police Head of Public Relations, Iptu Gede Sumarjaya, Monday, April 19.

From the results of the investigation of the scene of the case and the examination of the witnesses, an indication of the perpetrator of the murder is obtained. From the CCTV footage, the perpetrator entered at around 01.48 WITA, Sunday, March 28. Meanwhile, the arrest of the perpetrator was carried out on Sunday, April 18 in Buleleng, Bali.

"Then carried out the interrogation of the person concerned and (finally) admitted that it was true that he had committed the murder of the victim," explained Iptu Sumarjaya.

From the perpetrator's confession, the murder was carried out in the early hours of the morning. The perpetrator came to the victim's house and then entered by climbing the entrance to the house.

The perpetrator forcibly opened the door to the victim's room by kicking the door twice so that the victim woke up from his sleep.

An emotional victim mistreated Mintan's grandmother. There was resistance from Mintan's grandmother, but the perpetrator pushed the victim down.

The perpetrator then stuffed the victim's mouth with a kamben cloth. The perpetrator immediately ran away after killing the victim.

The perpetrator told the police that he had a grudge against the victim for insulting the perpetrator by yelling at him or by a dog.

"Which happened when the perpetrator was shopping at the victim's shop about three days before the murder," he said.

The perpetrator is charged under Article 338 of the Criminal Code and / or Article 351 paragraph (3) of the Criminal Code with a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison.
