Billy Gould Admits He Doesn't Know The Current Condition Of Faith No More
Billy Gould tried to open up about the condition of his band, Faith No More, at this time. The 61-year-old bassist admitted that his understanding of the band's future was still unclear.
Faith No More released their last album, 'Sol Invictus', in 2015. In the same year, they performed several shows, but there were no more clear band activities in the years after.
Gould, who has been a member since the beginning of 1979, said she really doesn't know what happened to Faith No More.
"I don't know. To be honest I don't know," Gould said in a recent interview with Radio Futuro Chile.
"And you don't have to believe me, but there's nothing," he said.
Gould said there was a strange feeling, where he actually got information from people outside of Faith No More.
"Right now we are in a very strange position, and I can't tell you what's going on," said the bassist.
"I myself don't know. I got different information from other people, and I'm in the band," he added.

Furthermore, Gould emphasized that his position in Faith No More was not as a control holder, even though he was the band's start-up personnel.
"Not really. If I were in control, maybe we would play in Chile next week," he said.
For information, Faith No More plans to make a comeback in 2020 by holding a world tour, but it has to be postponed due to the Covid pandemic.
Finally, the tour was canceled entirely in 2021, citing Mike Patton (vocals) who had mental health problems.
Faith No More has remained silent ever since, with Roddy Bottum (keyboard, guitar) describing the band's status as "semi-permanent hiatus" in October 2024.
