The Weight Is Shocked! Oppo Find N5 Breaks New Record?

JAKARTA - Oppo Find N5, which will launch in February 2025, is touted as the world's thinest foldable phone. The thickness of this device is said to be less than 9.2mm in a folded state. However, a post on Weibo from the famous Digital Chat Station tipser revealed that this phone will not be the lightest foldable phone.

Launched last year and available exclusively on the Chinese market, the Vivo X Fold 3 weighing 219 grams is the world's lightest foldable phone today. The Weibo post above shows that Find N5 will not be able to get rid of X Fold 3 to win the title of the lightest foldable phone.

However, Find N5, which is expected to have a 5,700mAh battery, could be lighter than Find N3, which weighs 239 grams and a smaller battery of 4,805mAh. Recently, a Weibo user asked Oppo Find Product Manager, Zhau Yibao, whether the weight of the N5 Find will be controlled within a limit of 230 grams. Yibao's functional response indicates that N5 has the potential to be below the 230 gram limit, making it a strong competitor for the title of the lightest foldable phone.
