Askrindo Affirms Anti-Corruption Commitment, Supports Clean Culture In SOEs

JAKARTA - Commitment and consistency in implementing clean business practices and in accordance with applicable regulations continue to be carried out by PT Asuransi Kredit Indonesia or Askrindo. This member of the Insurance and Guarantee Holding, Indonesia Financial Group (IFG) supports the realization of a BUMN culture that is free from corruption, Askrindo has implemented the ISO 37001:2016 standard Anti-Bribery Management System (SMAP) since 2021 until now.

This implementation is to support the improvement of governance within State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), particularly related to the supervision and eradication of corruption. Askrindo took concrete steps through controlling gratification in all company operations in line with the Ministry of SOEs program and also the mission of the Asta Cita Prabowo-Gibran program, namely strengthening political reform, law, and bureaucracy, as well as strengthening the prevention and eradication of corruption and drugs.

Askrindo also collaborated with the KPK and PPATK to provide direct explanations to leaders throughout Indonesia in order to get a complete understanding of how to prevent and eradicate corruption.

Askrindo's President Director, M. Fankar Umran, said that in carrying out their duties and functions, Askrindo intersects with corporations to the community. In addition, system digitization can help the effectiveness and efficiency including the minimization of human error but can also be prone to causing errors that can interfere with integrity.

In addition, Askrindo also implements the commitment of all employees through the Integrity Pact, so that tasks or jobs can be carried out with integrity, professionalism, and in accordance with applicable regulations," said Fankar, in a written statement, Thursday, January 23.

Askrindo previously carried out the ISO 37001,2016 refreshment activity, Fankar added that building awareness and understanding of the importance of ISO 37001,2016 SMAP is very crucial in creating a clean and integrity work environment.

"With this refreshment, we want to ensure that all Askrindo employees have adequate knowledge and are ready to implement an anti-preparatory management system in every activity," he added.

Through these activities, it is hoped that the company can continue to create a work culture that is transparent and free from bribery practices.
