Sitting On The GBK Bicycle Barrier, The OGJ Man Enters The Concrete Cavity, Is Rescued By Firefighters

JAKARTA - A man with mental disorders is trapped in a concrete cavity dividing a bicycle at door VI Senayan, GBK, Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Jakarta. This man was rescued by the Fire and Rescue Sub-Department (Gulkarmat) team.

"A man aged approximately 60 years is thought to be sitting in the concrete cavity dividing the bicycle, but after his body is inserted into the concrete cavity, his body cannot be removed again," said DKI Gulkarmat Public Relations Agency via the humasjakfire Instagram account, Monday , April 19.

Traffic officials who saw the incident tried to get people out of the concrete cavity but to no avail. The officer reports to Central Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept.

After the report was received at around 6:34 a.m., West Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. Officers moved to the location. The Damkar Sub-Department deployed a light rescue unit and 5 personnel.

"At 06.47 WIB, officers began to carry out the evacuation process by slowly lifting the person who was trapped in the concrete cavity of the bicycle barrier, and finally the person was successfully evacuated," continued Gulkarmat's statement.
