Hanging Out At The Cemetery, The Man In Deli Serdang Was Killed By A Collapsed Wall

MEDAN - The man with the initials MRA (18) had an unfortunate fate, a resident of Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra. MRA died when the wall of a public cemetery (TPU) collapsed in Syahmad Village, Lubukpakam District.

Lubukpakam police chief, AKP Hendri Yanto Sihotang said the incident occurred on Sunday, 18 Apri. morning.

"A single accident (the victim), hit by a fence wall," said Hendri in his statement, Monday, April 19.

According to Hendri, initially, the MRA victim and his friend sat beside the wall. However, without realizing it, the 30 meter long wall collapsed and hit the MRA's body. While other friends can save themselves.

"Suddenly the wall of the TPU fence collapsed and hit the victim, resulting in the victim experiencing head injuries and bleeding. The victim died at the accident site," he said.

Regarding why the MRA was hit by a wall, Hendri said the police were still investigating it. Likewise, the cause of the wall collapsed.

"We are investigating. Meanwhile (the body) of the victim has been taken to the funeral home to be buried," he said.
