Meatball Vendor In Intan Jaya Hacked By 2 KKB Papuan Members, Now Being Treated At The Hospital

PAPUA - The Armed Criminal Group (KKB) is suspected of persecuting Asep Saputra (50) a mobile meatball trader in Sugapa, Intan Jaya Regency. The perpetrator persecuted Asep using a sharp weapon.

Dandim 1705 Nabire Lieutenant Colonel Inf Benny Wahyudi said the incident took place at around 14.30 WIT in front of the BPD Sugapa cash office on Sunday, April 18 yesterday.

"The assault using sharp weapons was carried out by two people who were suspected of being members of the KKB," said Dandim as quoted by Antara, Monday, April 19.

The stab wound victim is currently in Nabire Regional Hospital after being evacuated from Sugapa, Monday morning.

"It is true that currently the victim is already in Nabire Hospital and is being handled by the medical team at the hospital," he explained.

From the reports received, the victim was abused while selling on his motorbike in front of the BPD Sugapa office, and the two perpetrators immediately fled.

The perpetrator's motorcycle has now been secured at the Intan Jaya Police, said Dandim 1705 Nabire Lt. Col. Inf. Benny Wahyudi. Kodim 1705 Nabire also oversees Intan Jaya District.
