Tuku Becomes The Only Local MSME Buyer Rights Jakarta MRT Station

JAKARTA - One of the pioneers of sugar milk coffee, Tuku Coffee is said to be buying the rights to name the Jakarta Cipete Raya MRT Station. This was confirmed by the President Director of PT MRT Jakarta Tuhiyat.

Tuhiyat revealed that Tuku is the only local micro, small and medium enterprise (MSMEs) that buys the name rights of the MRT station.

"We are collaborating with Tuku and Tuku. It is the only local private sector that is included in the MSME group," said Tuhiyat to reporters, Wednesday, January 22.

Tuhiyat explained that business cooperation with Tuku in the right to name the MRT station uses a win-win cooperative scheme.

"This is a local private sector that is part of the MSME group that cooperates with us. We do that openly and they dare to take steps to expand their business," explained Tuhiyat.

Tuhiyat hopes that this Integrated Moda Raya station collaboration will develop their respective businesses, especially in improving MRT Jakarta services for their passengers.

The plan is that the cooperation between naming rights and Tuku in the early stages will take place in 2 years. However, Tuhiyat could not reveal the value of the cooperation.

"We apologize very much for the value of the cooperation that we have not been able to convey, considering that we want to respect the commitment of the mutual agreement between us and our partners," he said.

The plan is that the ceremonial rights to name Cipete Raya Tuku MRT Station will be held in the last week of January 2025.

Thus, of the 13 MRT Jakarta stations on phase 1 route, a number of stations have the right to name partners, namely Istora Mandiri Station, Setiabudi Astra Station, Bank DKI HI Roundabout Station, Indomaret Fatmawati Station, BCA Blok M Station, Senayan Mastercard Station, BNI Dukuh Atas Station, and Tuku Cipete Raya Station.
