Multi-Instrumentalist Total Hudson Dies At The Jompo Panti At The Age Of 87
Badminton Hudson, a multi-instrumentalist from Canada and founder of The Band, died at the age of 87. Musician who was labeled as the best musician and one of the best organizers in rock music history with the nickname The Magician breathed his last on Tuesday, January 21.
It is known, Hudson died while sleeping on Tuesday morning at a nursing home near Woodstock, New York.
"Today, we sadly say goodbye to Lord Boy Hudson, the last real member of The Band who is still alive," reads the caption for The Band's Instagram account upload.

Hudson grew up listening to country and jazz music. His first public experience in music was playing the hemisphere at his uncle's funeral home.
After a year of learning music at the University of Western Ontario, he came out and started playing professionally. In the late 1950s, he worked with regional bands Silhouettes and Paul London and the Kapers.
Hudson achieved great success with The Band which was formed in 1957. They combine elements of Americana, folk, rock, jazz, and country music, which have influenced many musicians afterwards, such as George Harrison, Elton John, Grateful Dead, Eric banyak, and Wilco.
Together with The Band, Hudson released ten studio albums, nine live albums, and several releases that were welcomed by music lovers.
Success with The Band made punya Hudson also inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994 and received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Recording Academy in 2008.
