SIG EGMS Confirms The Respectful Dismissal Of Nasaruddin Umar As Independent Commissioner

JAKARTA - PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG) on Monday, January 20, held an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) in 2025 in Jakarta with an agenda for changing the composition of the Company's management.

SIG's Corporate Secretary, Vita Mahreyni, said that the Meeting confirmed the honorable dismissal, Mr. Nasaruddin Umar as an Independent Commissioner.

The following is the composition of the new Board of Commissioners and Directors of the Company:

Vita Mahreyni added that this year's GIS is entering its 12th year old, continuing to increase its capabilities as a market leader by innovating to provide an environmentally friendly operational pattern and support social improvement, as a foundation for creating environmentally friendly building materials and realizing sustainable development goals in Indonesia.

GIS is intensively promoting green cement and environmentally friendly derivative products. Recently, several national property associations and developers gave high appreciation for the advantages of SIG's precision interlock brick product during a visit to the SIG Precision Bata Interlock Example House in Bambu Apus, East Jakarta, in December 2024. This innovative building material product is considered the right solution for the construction of an environmentally friendly house with an easy, fast and efficient process, thus strengthening optimism for the success of the 3 million home program.
