Canon Launches New IPhone App For Multi-Camera Livestreaming

JAKARTA - Canon has just launched a new app for the iPhone and iPad called the Live Switcher Mobile, designed to facilitate multi-camera livestreaming.

In its announcement Canon said: With the increasing video content on social media, the need for livestreaming, such as cooking, gaming, and product reviews, is getting higher. The Live Switcher Mobile application answers this need by providing multi-device camera diversion features of up to three devices, such as the iPad or iPhone, which are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Just download the app to the iPhone or iPad that functions as a camera, users can broadcast videos live through their selected platforms.

This application is equipped with various features specifically designed to support livestreaming:

This app is available on the App Store, with most features accessible for free. However, for maximum experience without ads and watermarks, users can choose to subscribe for 17.99 US dollars per month.

Meanwhile, Apple has recently launched the Cut Camera Final to provide a free multi-camera function on its devices. However, the Live Switcher Mobile meets the specific needs of live streamers that Apple has not yet reached, while strengthening the added value of the iPad rear camera for content creation.
