Patience/Reza Have Long Preparations For Debut At All England 2025

JAKARTA - Sabar Karyaman Gutama/Mohammad Reza Pahlevi Isfahani have long preparations to make their debut at the All England 2025 event in March 2025.

The oldest tournament in the world is in the next plan of the couple after they suffered defeat in the first round of the Indonesia Masters 2025 on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.

"After this we left for All England in March 2025. That was our first All England. Hopefully we can give our best," said Reza after the match.

Patience/Reza were eliminated from the 2025 Indonesia Masters against Xie Hao Nan/Zeng Wei Han from China. They failed to maintain the advantage of the first game so that they fell with a score of 21-15, 15-21, and 16-21.

This is their second minor result in early 2025. Previously, while playing in the first tournament at the Malaysia Open 2025 two weeks ago, their journey ran aground in the second half.

"We can take the win in the first game. Then in the second game, at the end of points, we catch up. That's where the focus disappeared a bit. Then, in the third game we were under pressure," said Reza.

All England is a Super 1000 level tournament. The event is scheduled to take place from 11-16 March 2025 at Utilita Arena Birmingham, Birmingham, England.

Thus, there are two tournaments that Sabar/Reza will miss. The two events are the German Open and Orleans Masters 2025, both of which are level Super 300 BWF.

Apart from Sabar/Reza, Rahmat Hidayat/Yeremia Rambitan also felt defeat. The pair lost against Malaysia's representative, Low Hang Yee/Ng Eng Cheong.
