Civilization 7 Already Gone Gold! Ready To Launch On February 11
JAKARTA - The developer of Fraxis announced that his latest game, Sid Meier's Civilization 7 has officially become a gone gold or has completed the development stage.
Thus, as scheduled, Civilization 7 will be released on February 11 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
"We have got gold! Civ7 has officially become a gold edition, we are ready to be on the market on February 11," the developer wrote in his announcement on X.

When launched, Civilization 7 will come with three editions, namely: Standard Edition for IDR 1,179,000, Deluxe Edition for IDR 1,600,000, and Founder Edition for IDR 2,080,000.
In this game, your strategic decisions will form a unique cultural lineage of your ever-evolving empire. You will be one of the legendary leaders of history.
Although the core premises still focus on controlling real-world civilizations and progress through various eras in the 4X style, there is a new Ages system.

The matches will consist of three Ages (periods) namely Antiquity Age, Exploration Age, and Modern Age. Each Age offers unique civilizations, technologies, units, and buildings that match those eras, creating a deeper gaming experience and focusing on the historical characteristics of each period.
But as a player, you can choose to experience just one Age, not all three in a row. Civilization 7 will support cross-play and cross-progression features, allowing players to play together and continue the progress of the game on various platforms.
