A Mother In Situbondo Was Beaten 3 Times When She Went To The Market, Her Motorbike Was Confiscated

SITUBONDO - The Situbondo Resort Police, East Java, conducted an investigation into an alleged robbery or robbery that happened to a female motorcycle rider when he was about to go to the market.

Head of Public Relations of the Situbondo Police, AKP Sutrisno, said that the incident of the seizure of Nur Sofiyah's motorbike (37) by an unknown person occurred on Monday after Fajr at around 4.00 WIB on Jalan Desa Landangan, Kapongan District.

"Until now, members of the Criminal Investigation Unit and the Kapongan Police are conducting an investigation into the incident of confiscation of motorbikes by the unknown person," he said in Situbondo, Antara, Tuesday, January 21.

Meanwhile, Kapongan Police Chief AKP Teguh Santoso said the robbery began when the victim was riding a motorcycle with the aim of going to the market.

According to the victim's statement, when he came out of the alley or gate, suddenly a man holding a wood blocked and hit the wood three times and hit the victim's left arm, head and hips so that the victim fell.

"Then the perpetrator immediately took the victim's motorbike to the east at high speed, while the wood used as a tool to hit the perpetrator was living. The victim spontaneously shouted for help so that a motorbike rider immediately chased the perpetrator, but the perpetrator managed to escape," said Teguh.

He added that currently members of the Kapongan Police are also investigating the crime scene (TKP) and asking for information from victims, including witnesses at the scene.

Teguh also revealed from the results of the investigation that the facts were obtained that the victim's motorbike, at STNK with the number F 5804 WAW, was obtained, but the police number installed on the P 3276 EY vehicle.

"So, when the crime scene was processed, it was revealed that the police number installed on the motorcycle did not match the STNK, the vehicle was not equipped with a BPKB, only a STNK," he said.
