New Design And Rich Technology, New Yamaha MT-25 Officially Launches In Indonesia

JAKARTA - Not only launching New R25, PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Mfg (YIMM) also presents a New Model from MT-25 for the naked motorcycle segment in the country.

As the latest generation, New MT-25 has received various changes, both in terms of feature design to engine performance that is more powerful to emphasize the character of the motorbike.

"The upgrades that we present are in line with the needs of users who want large-scale motorcycles that are big bikes with powerful engine performance but still comfortable and practically used in urban areas and for adventure," said Deputy Director of Marketing of PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Mfg Takaaki Goodha, in an official statement received, Tuesday, January 21.

In design, the New Yamaha MT-25 received changes and is now more futuristic and still highlighting aggressive accents. The new Yamaha MT-25 design inspiration itself adopts many designs from MT-07, especially the biggest changes in the back area which now presents a new design that makes the new Yamaha MT-25 look more concise and concise.

Meanwhile, adjustments to the seat which are becoming more six mm slit and side covers which are also 8 mm higher. This upgrade makes the new Yamaha MT-25 have a more ergonomic trading posture. In the design section, the headlights are also more aggressive thanks to the touch of LED projectors which are able to produce more optimal lighting visibility, especially when riding at night with minimal lighting.

In terms of features, this one motor gets an upgrade from various aspects that are claimed to support driving needs. Currently Yamaha MT-25 already uses a full digital speedometer and has been directly connected to the Y-Connect application which is able to display call and message notifications on the speedometer screen, as well as information regarding periodic maintenance schedules, travel records, and others on the smartphones of each user.

The display speedometer on the Yamaha MT-25 is now also equipped with a multifunctional menu display option that can provide more detailed driving information, such as an odometer, real-time fuel consumption display or on average, trip meter oil and others. Meanwhile, features such as the USB charging system type-A are now also available on motors that are very useful to support urban mobility needs as well as for adventure.

Machine performance and new technology model Yamaha MT-25 itself, currently have the same details and specifications as the latest generation Yamaha R25, namely 4 steps, 8 valve DOHC-Fuel Injection, and liquid-cooled with standard Euro 5+ technology, which is capable of producing responsive driving acceleration with a maximum power of 26.4 kW at 12,000 RPM and a maximum torque of 22.6 Nm at 10,000 RPM.

For changes to the engine components, the Yamaha MT-25 also has the same details and specifications as the latest generation of Yamaha R25, namely changes to the denser compression chamber with a compression ratio that is maintained at 11.6, a longer water-intake system, a muffler that is now equipped with 2 catalysts, and the availability of a canister system to accommodate gasoline vapor.

Speaking of convenience, the New Yamaha MT-25 this time has been embedded with the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) feature, which allows users to be able to get optimal braking performance while driving through various terrains. So how much?
