Goodbye To The White House, Joe Biden And Kamala Haris: It's An Honor For Us To Serve The American People
JAKARTA - United States President Joe Biden and United States Vice President Kamala Harris said it was an honor for both of them to be able to serve the US community, in uploads on social media before their term ends Monday.
"It is an honor for us to serve you, the American people," President Biden tweeted on the official Presidential X account @POTUS, as quoted January 20.
The same tweet was also uploaded to the official X account of Vice President Kamala Harris.
Biden and Harris will end their term of office, along with the inauguration of Elected President Donald Trump and Elected Vice President JD Vance at the Capitol Building Rotunda today.
In a previous upload, President Biden shared a compilation video when he welcomed the US community from various backgrounds at the White House, to be precise the Oval Room.
"For me, People's Houses are always about welcoming everyone," he tweeted.
"America, thank you for trusting me with this holy place. I am delighted to open the door to the Oval Space wider than before over the past four years," he continued.
Meanwhile, the official White House account also shared the same photo as President Biden and Vice President Harris' uploads, writing "President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, First Lady Jill Biden, and Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff gather at North Serambi White House for the last time."
President Biden and his wife Jill also shared moments when they took selfies at the White House.
"We love you, America," President Biden tweeted.

Previously, Vice President Harris in an upload on X said the Biden-Harris administration had made many major differences in people's lives.
"The work we have done over the past four years has made a huge difference in the lives of many people - people we may never have met, but benefited from our work," he tweeted.
