2 Sadistic Robbers Often In Action In Bekasi Regency Awarded Hot Tin From The Police For Fighting

The police arrested two perpetrators who specialize in violent theft or sadistic robbers who often carry out actions in the jurisdiction of Bekasi Regency.

"Officers were forced to paralyze with hot lead towards the perpetrator's leg for resisting," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Bekasi Metro Police, Commissioner of Police. Onkoseno Grandiarso Sukahar in Cikarang, West Java, Monday, was confiscated by Antara.

He said the arrest of the perpetrators with the initials T and R began with a public report after finding out that a 60-year-old grandfather was a victim of motor vehicle theft with stab wounds on the body.

The unfortunate incident experienced by the grandfather occurred on Jalan Tampian, Tamansari Village, Setu District, Bekasi Regency, when the victim was about to return from a relative's house on Thursday, January 9 evening.

Armed with the report, Bekasi Metro Police officers together with Setu Polsek Bekasi Regency then conducted an investigation until they managed to secure the two perpetrators separately at a hiding location.

The second perpetrator's arrest process did not run smoothly because the officers found resistance, so they were forced to take firm and measured action.

"The perpetrators were known to be sadistic, when we carried out developments, the perpetrators tried to fight back and tried to escape, so we had to paralyze them with hot lead," he said.

Seno stated that based on the results of the examination, the perpetrators had acted in seven locations. Both are known to be specialists in motorcycle robbery and even sadistic because they often injure victims.

Setu Police Chief Adjunct Commissioner of Police. Ani Widayati stated that the officers assisted by the Bekasi Metro Police Satreskrim immediately acted after knowing what had happened to the victim, a grandfather.

"We immediately worked hand in hand to hunt down the sadistic robbers so that they could catch both of them," he said.

The two perpetrators were charged with Article 365 concerning theft accompanied by violence with the threat of a sentence of 12 years in prison to account for their actions.

"We will continue to improve regional security patrols to prevent all crimes," he said.
