Neighbors Burn Garbage Near Home, Nana Mirdad Reminds About Billions Of Rupiah Fines

Nana Mirdad expressed her frustration to her neighbor who was caught burning garbage until a big fire broke out.

Nana is concerned because in Indonesia there are still many people who do not understand the rules for burning garbage that could be the cause of a big fire.

"Please really, we in Indonesia really don't understand, this is burning garbage like this, it's really big, this can cause a big fire," said Nana Mirdad, quoted by VOI from Instagram @nanamirdad, Monday, January 20.

Not without reason, this was said by Andrew White's wife because the location of the garbage burning place is close to people's homes and flammable plants.

"There is a house around there and here all the forest plants that you often see the backdrop of my house," he continued.

"And they threw garbage there and they burned it. Until that big, I really did," said Nana.

Not hesitate, Nana pinned the Denpasar city government regarding this and poked fun at the existing rules.

"Please, the party on duty @denpasarkota, isn't there a rule for burning garbage to be severely fined? It's just like this with heavy rain that the fire doesn't extinguish," he explained.

Naysila Mirdad's brother also attached the legal basis governing trash and sanctions if he violated it.

"Perpetrators can be subject to a maximum imprisonment of 10 years and a maximum of Rp. 5 billion. Perpetrators can be sentenced to 10 years in prison and a fine of Rp. 10 billion if it causes environmental pollution," reads a statement shared by Nana Mirdad.
