Google Will Bring Audio Eclipse To Chrome And Android
JAKARTA Google announced that Eclipsa Audio, a 3D audio technology developed with Samsung, will be expanded to more devices. Plans, this audio format will be available on Chrome and Android.
The tech giant said that this spatial audio format will be released in spring, but the exact date is not explained. Not only launching Eclipsa Audio to Chrome and Android, Google will also release its plug-in format for free for AVID Pro Tools Digital Audio Workstation.
"We also plan to bring original Audio Eclipsa playback to the Google Chrome browser as well as to TV and Soundbar from various manufacturers by the end of 2025. Ecllipsa Audio support will also be available in the upcoming Android AOSP release," Google explained via Google's official open-source website.
The expansion of the Audio Eclipse is part of Google's commitment to changing the way users enjoy their voices. Since its format was introduced by Samsung, the company has wanted to create a new and innovative audio experience.

The Audio eclipse is based on Immersive Audio Model and Formats (IAMF) technology, audio formats developed by Google, Samsung, and other contributors in Alliance for Open Media (AOM). Given the format released in open-source, anyone can use the audio tool.
Google also stated that its company will bring Eclipsa Audio to the YouTube platform. Later, creators can upload videos with the track format. Prior to its format expanded, Samsung remained the first company to integrate its technology into the ranks of television smarts.
