Prabowo Apologizes To Parents Whose Children Have Not Been Touched To Eat Free Nutrition
JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto apologized to parents and children who have not received the benefits of the Free Nutrition Food (MBG) program.
"Eating this nutritious physically is not easy to immediately go to all people. For that, I am Prabowo Subianto, President of the Republic of Indonesia, I apologize to all parents, then all children who have not received (MBG)," said Prabowo in Sumedang, West Java, Monday, January 20, confiscated by Antara.
The President acknowledged that the program that had just begun could not directly reach all children in Indonesia.
Prabowo emphasized that physically and administratively, this program takes time to be able to reach children evenly.
The President also highlighted the importance of the security process so that the funds distributed were right on target and did not experience irregularities.
"The process of securing so that the money sent is not lost, there is a process that we must carry out, and for that it takes time. But I emphasize, try to find the best, fastest way so that all our children can feel it," said Prabowo.
However, the President ensured that funds for the MBG program were available and would be used as needed.
He said that this program was aimed at children in need.
"I guarantee that the funds are for all Indonesian children who eat. And those who don't need to eat are okay. Give the allocation to what is necessary," said Prabowo.

The Head of State is also optimistic that by the end of 2025, all Indonesian children can enjoy the benefits of this program.
"I believe that by 2025, by the end of 2025 all Indonesian children will be able to eat nutritiously," said the President.
The MBG program has now been implemented in 31 provinces in Indonesia with a total of 238 Nutrition Fulfillment Service Units (SPPG) having been operating to meet the manufacture of food for MBG.
In the first period, namely January-April 2025, it is targeted that there will be 3 million beneficiaries from the MBG program, then in the next stage of April-August 2025, it is targeted that this number will increase to 6 million beneficiaries.
