Uya Kuya's Clarification After The Issue Of Being Expelled By Los Angeles Residents During An Interview At The Fire Location

JAKARTA - Uya Kuya finally opened her voice regarding the incident of her and her wife, Astrid Kuya, who was chased away by one of the residents who was the victim of a fire in Los Angeles, United States.

In an upload on his personal Instagram, Uya Kuya apologized for the noise he made which went viral in Indonesia.

"I apologize for my noise and mistakes. Hopefully this will be a lesson for us. Yes, that's true what happened in Altadena," wrote Uya Kuya quoted by VOI from Instagram @king_uyakuya, Monday, January 20.

He explained that the video was made at the request of the media in Indonesia who wanted to know the real situation in Los Angeles.

"At that time we were making a video that was asked by Indonesian journalists who wanted to see the real incident there because there were many hoax videos and AI about the AI fire. It was not far from the house of one of the Indonesian citizens who was also burned down," he continued.

This member of the Indonesian House of Representatives admitted that he had apologized to the owner of the house who expelled him while filming the video.

"And we have also apologized to the person concerned because previously the person was not there and we also do not know that he was the owner of the house before he reprimanded us," he said.

Unfortunately, even though he apologized, Uya Kuya's behavior received a negative response from netizens. No wonder many accused him of embarrassing Indonesia.

"You don't have to defend yourself, the point is you're wrong, that's all," commented the account @rik****.
