The Attorney General's Office Opens Opportunities To Check The Wife Of The Former Chairperson Of The Surabaya District Court Regarding Rp21.1 Billion In Cash
The Attorney General's Office (AGO) did not rule out the possibility of examining the wife of the former chairman of the Surabaya District Court, Rudi Suparmono, in the case of alleged bribery and gratification of Gregorius Ronald Tannur's acquittal.
The investigation was probably due to the Rp21 billion that was confiscated by investigators during the search which was found in the car of Rudi Suparmono's wife.
"If it becomes a need for investigation, of course it will be summoned," said Head of the AGO, Harli Siregar, to VOI, Monday, January 20.
Currently, investigators have scheduled the summons and examination of witnesses in the Rudi Suparmono case. The series of witness statements began this week.
However, it was not clearly stated who would be examined in the near future.
"Investigators have scheduled summons and examination of witnesses for the suspect at the hospital," said Harli.
Previously, the Director of Investigation of the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) Abdul Qohar said that he had confiscated several pieces of evidence, one of which was money worth Rp. 21,141,956,000 or Rp. 21.1 billion.
The confiscated money is certainly not all rupiah denominations. However, there are also US dollars or USD worth 388,600 and Singapore dollars or SDG as much as 1,099,626.

The money was found in a Fortuner car parked in a house owned by Rudi Suparmono.
