The Head Of The Indonesian Army's Dispenad Confirms That The Man Who Brandished A Pistol In Kemang Is A Member, But Not A Kostrad
TANGERANG - Kadispenad TNI Army (AD), Brigadier General Wahyu Yudhayana spoke about the man suspected of claiming to be a member of Kostrad during a commotion and brandishing a gun in the area on Jalan Taman Kemang, Mampang Prapatan, South Jakarta (Jaksel).
"The results of checking and coordinating with Puspom AD and Kodam Jaya, that the alleged perpetrator who claimed to be a member of the TNI in Kemang are true that he is a member of the Indonesian Army," Wahyu said when confirmed, Sunday, January 19.
Nevertheless, Wahyu denied his confession that he was a member of the TNI from the Kostrad arrangement.
"But not from the Kostrad Unit, the person concerned is a member of Kodam III/Siliwangi who at the time of the incident was in Jakarta," he said.

Currently, the man who brandished an object resembling a firearm has been secured for examination.
He also apologized if there was inconvenience to the community members caused by the person concerned at the time of the incident.
"Currently, the person concerned has been secured in Denpom Jaya/2 in Cijantung for an examination related to the incident. The progress of the results of the examination will be conveyed later," he explained.
