The Majority Of IDX Shares Record Positive Performance, Frequency And Value Of Transactions Significantly Increase

JAKARTA The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) announced that based on stock trading data for the period 13 to 17 January 2025, the majority of shares were closed in the positive zone.

The average daily transaction frequency of the Exchange this week has increased significantly by 34.77 percent, reaching 1.39 million transactions, compared to 1.04 million transactions the previous week.

In addition, the average daily transaction value also increased by 33.50 percent, reaching Rp11.64 trillion, from the previous Rp8.72 trillion last week.

The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) also increased by 0.93%, at the level of 7,154.658, compared to 7,088.866 in the previous week.

The market capitalization this week also recorded an increase of 0.5 percent, reaching Rp12,472 trillion, compared to Rp12,403 trillion a week earlier.

Meanwhile, the average daily transaction volume decreased slightly by 0.86 percent, to 17.51 billion shares, compared to 17.66 billion shares last week.

Foreign investors today recorded a net purchase of IDR 240.20 billion. However, throughout 2025, foreign investors recorded net sales of IDR 2.69 trillion.
