This Is The Key To Hangtuah Jakarta's Victory Against Bali United

JAKARTA - Hangtuah Jakarta coach Wahyu Widayat Jati revealed the reason his team won when they played an away match against Pacific Caesar Surabaya with a score of 89-54 at Gor Pacific Caesar Surabaya, Saturday.

"Our preparation is actually three days. As soon as the opponents of Bali United are finished, all coaches, staff are already working to score the Pacific player system and of course give our players a refresher time too, that may be the key," Wahyu Jati said after the match at Gor Pacific Surabaya as reported by ANTARA.

Even though they won by a lot of difference, he said, the most important thing was not the numbers, but how could they remain consistent from start to finish in that match.

"Because I don't see the margin of the score, the most important thing is that they can consistently implement the strategy from start to finish the match," he said.

Therefore, he appreciates all his players who have supported the coaching team to implement a good game strategy against Pacific Caesar.

"Although we have only been playing for two days. But the children can be consistent and have a very high commitment to carry out all the instructions from me, thank you," he said.

Meanwhile, Hangtuah Jakarta player Adonys Henriquez said this result was the hard work of the entire team, including coaches who had provided a good pattern of play.

"First of all, I want to thank everyone. I think we played well this time and this is a great start to the season," he said.

In addition, he is also still optimistic if his performance can still help the team to win, even though this season is his first experience playing in Indonesia.

"I think the first experience of the season is good and this team is also good, we have a chance to win," he said.

Not only that, he also thought that Hangtuah Jakarta would be a surprise team for other IBL participants this season.

"I think we will be a team that can surprise many teams. My goal is, I want to win as much as possible," said the player from the Dominican Republic.
