Teenagers Disappear On Mount Seulawah Aceh Besar, SAR Team Conducts Search
The National SAR Agency (Basarnas) team is looking for a teenage boy who was reported missing in Mount Seulawah, Lembah Seulawah District, Aceh Besar District.
Head of Banda Aceh Basarnas Ibnu Harris Al Hussain in Banda Aceh, Saturday, said the victim M Zhafran Nadra, 17 years old, a resident of Gampong Blang Paseh, Sigli. Pidie Regency, Aceh Province.
"The victim was reported missing since Friday (17/1) night. The search for the victim was carried out today until before Maghrib. However, the search continued the next day due to dark conditions," he said.
Zhafran and his parents went to the garden in the Mount Seulawah area, Gampong Sukapeace Saree, Lembah Seulawah District, Aceh Besar District, on Friday (17/1).
However, he said, until 18.30 WIB, the victim had not returned from the garden. Then, the family waited for the victim until 19.30 WIB. However, the victim also did not return from the garden.
Furthermore, the victim's family reported to the Seulawah Valley Police, Aceh Besar Police. Then, the police and their families searched for the victim until early morning. However, they were also not found.
"This morning, the Seulawah Valley Police reported the incident to the Banda Aceh Basarnas Office. Based on the report, we deployed and dispatched a team to look for victims," said Ibnu Harris Al Hussain as reported by ANTARA.
The search, he said, was divided into two teams. The first team searched by combing the road up to the mountain which the victim estimated to pass. The first team also monitored from the air using drones.

"Meanwhile, the second team searched and walked through the valley in the mountains in the vicinity of the garden. The location is thought to have been the scene where the victim was reported missing," he said.
In addition to Basarnas personnel, the search for victims also involved personnel from the Seulawah Valley Police, the Seulawah Valley Koramil, the Aceh Police Mobile Brigade, nature lovers, the community, and the families of the victims.
"As of 18.00 WIB, the search for victims has not yielded results. The search for victims was temporarily suspended due to night and dark conditions. The search for victims was continued by Sunday (19/1)," said Ibnu Harris Al Hussain.
