Manchester United Rejects Napoli's Offer To Alejandro Garnacho

JAKARTA - Manchester United have rejected Napoli's initial approach to winger Alejandro Garnacho.

Napoli have made Garnacho their main target to replace Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who officially joined Paris Saint-Germain in a 70 million euro deal.

The Serie A club contacted Mancheste United with an estimated 50 million euros for Garnacho, but the approach was quickly rejected.

Manchester United's financial situation means that any serious offer to any senior squad members will be considered.

However, some sources told ESPN that their assessment of Garnacho, which is under contract until 2028, far exceeds the figures included in Napoli's opening bid.

Garnacho is also likely to stay at Old Trafford. You see, Manchester United also wants to keep the 20-year-old, who is considered one of the club's best young players, despite the fact that their worrying finances could lead to difficult decisions if a big offer is made.

Bayern Munich, Juventus, and Chelsea have also been asked to continue to be informed about Garnacho's future.

Meanwhile, Manchester United's priority in the January 2025 transfer market is to find a way out for Marcus Rashford.

AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund have expressed interest, but progress in agreeing to a slow deal.

Manchester United are reportedly willing to be flexible in securing the deal and can approve a direct loan.

Rashford has not appeared for Ruben Amorim's side for more than a month and has not been included in the squad's 3-1 win over Southampton on January 17, 2025.

Milan have recently preferred to step down in their efforts to get Rashford and chose to divert to Kyle Walker (Manchester City).
