PCO Spokesperson Affirms Prabowo Remains Commitment To Continue IKN
BANDUNG - Spokesperson for the Presidential Communication Office (PCO) Dedek Prayudi emphasized that President Prabowo Subianto remains committed to continuing the construction of the capital city of Nusantara (IKN), East Kalimantan.
"I emphasize that President Prabowo's commitment to IKN is no lower than President Jokowi's (Joko Widodo) commitment," said Dedek in Bandung, West Java, as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, January 18.
Denearau, familiarly called Uki, said that his party was also still visiting IKN at the end of December 2024 to see the continuation of infrastructure development in the region.
According to him, one of the most pursued developments is the Nusantara Mosque.
He also emphasized that there was no slowdown in the continuation of IKN.
"One of the most accelerated is the construction of the Nusantara Mosque, it will be one of the milestones and there will be no slowdown, it doesn't exist. There is only IKN development, which was previously 100 percent of the state budget, and it has to be reduced over time," he said.
Uki said domestic and foreign investors have seen the government's seriousness in building IKN. According to him, investment for IKN continues, it's just not too echoed.
He also rejected that the national strategic project (PSN) in the Joko Widodo era had been removed since President Prabowo's leadership.

According to him, currently what is more emphasized is the best rapid results program (PHTC) which consists of eight priorities.
"In Pak Prabowo's era, it was not a national strategic project, but there were PHTC and there were eight that focused on human resources. (PSN) was not deleted, just not touted, everyone has their own design, right," said Uki.
