The Indonesian Navy Calls The Unloading Of Sea Pagar Was Carried Out 2 Km Per Day
The Indonesian Navy targets to be able to dismantle the sea fence in the Tanjung Pasir area, Tangerang for 2 kilometers per day.
Commander of the Indonesian Navy Main Base (Danlantamal) III Jakarta Brigadier General TNI (Mar) Harry Indarto said it was impossible to dismantle 30 km of bamboo fences in the sea in a day.
"We will arrange the mechanism, at least my target today is two kilometers," said Harry quoting Antara.
Harry explained that his party was only able to target 2 kilometers per day because the revocation process was considered more difficult than the process of tightening the fence.
"Moreover, what has been planted has been for months, so it will make it more difficult for us to withdraw," said Harry.
In addition, large ships such as KRI cannot enter the location of the fence because the sea is not too deep. This condition makes the Indonesian Navy only able to deploy small boats assisted by fishermen around the location.
The demolition process was carried out manually by pulling bamboo with a rope attached to a fishing boat.
Harry hopes that in the next few days his party will receive assistance from relevant agencies and institutions to dismantle all sea fences.
