Police Detain Owner Of Islamic Boarding School In East Jakarta After Allegedly Harassing Santri

The police have detained the owner of the Ad-Diniyah Islamic Boarding School located in RT 09/RW 07, Pondok Kelapa Village, Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta, with the initials H (47) who is suspected of committing immoral acts (sodomy) to seven of his students.

"It's true, he has been detained," said East Jakarta Metro Police Chief Commissioner Nicolas Ary Lilipaly, when confirmed in Jakarta, on Saturday, January 18, 2025.

However, he has not been able to explain in detail the chronology of the arrests because in the future the release of the case will be held.

"Next week, I will press release, yes," he said.

The alleged immoral act against the students of the Ad-Diniyah Islamic Boarding School, RT 09/RW 07, Pondok Kelapa, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta, has entered the investigation stage.

"Yes, the case has entered the investigation stage," said Nicolas in Jakarta, Thursday, January 16, 2025.

Nicolas said there were two indications of the perpetrator. However, his party has just arrested one perpetrator who is a teacher at the boarding school.

With the detention of the owner of the boarding school, the East Jakarta Metro Police has arrested the two perpetrators of the immoral act.

Meanwhile, the total number of victims, said Nicolas, was five people, so there were two police reports that came from the two perpetrators of immoral acts (sodomy).

"The perpetrators indicated that there were two. There were five victims. So, three victims for one suspect and two victims for one suspect. So, two police reports," said Nicolas.

Nicolas has not been able to provide a more complete explanation regarding the case of immoral acts (sodomy) that occurred at the Ad-Diniyah Islamic Boarding School.
