Ruth Sahanaya And Ziva Magnolya Adu Improve On The Super Diva Stage

JAKARTA - The Super Diva Concert featuring 3 Divas (Kris Dayanti, Ruth Sahanaya, Titi DJ) and Super Girls LTZ (Lyodra, Tiara Andini, Ziva Magnolya) was held at the Indonesia Arena GBK, Central Jakarta tonight, Friday, January 17th.

From several formats presented, there was a performance of the senior-junior duo, one of which was the duo of two Maluku-blooded singers, Ruth Sahanaya and Ziva Magnolya.

Ziva was on stage first. After presenting a repertoire, the singer who graduated from Indonesian Idol called his senior.

"This time I will not appear alone. I will call my mother, Mami Uthe," said Ziva, followed by Ruth's appearance on stage.

The first repertoire presented by this duet was Until When, Ziva Magnolya's single was first released in 2020 and became one of the material on her debut album.

Erwin Gutawa as the music director gives a different touch. Still in an upbeat feel, but the rhythm presented is more congested and complicated.

It didn't stop there, the two continued their appearance by performing Tidak Kuduga, Ruth Sahanaya's hit song which became the title track for her 1990 album.

In the middle of this second repertoire, Erwin Gutawa provided space for Ruth and Ziva to celebrate. Both of them did not waste this opportunity to amaze thousands of pairs of watching eyes.

Ruth Sahanaya displays powerful improvisations, which are second to none in Indonesia. Meanwhile, Ziva, with the riff and runs technique that became her mainstay, was able to keep up with her seniors.

The 34-year-old collaboration in terms of age ended with loud applause and applause from all over the arena.

Apart from Ruth Sahanaya and Ziva Magnolya, the senior-junior duet format also features Titi DJ paired with Tiara Andini, and Kris Dayanti with Lyodra.
