42 Years Old, Kim Min Hee Is Pregnant With Hong Sang Soo's First Child

JAKARTA - Actress Kim Min Hee is reportedly pregnant with her first child from her relationship with director Hong Sang Soo. Dispatch reported that Kim Min Hee is currently six months pregnant and this couple has known about her since last summer.

Both of them live in the Hanam area, Gyeonggi after Hong Sang Soo left his house in the Apgujeong area. Now, they occupy the Hanam area which is close to Kim Min Hee's parents' house.

The news of Kim Min Hee's pregnancy began when they were seen going to the doctor on January 15. Hong Sang Soo was seen accompanying Kim Min Hee from examination to test.

A month earlier, they were seen shopping and living their daily lives as usual. The Cannes-winning director is seen taking driving classes after Kim Min Hee is usually driving a car.

Even so, Kim Min Hee and Hong Sang Soo did not formalize their relationship in marriage considering Hong Sang Soo was still registered to marry his wife since 1985.

Hong Sang Soo filed for divorce in 2016 but the lawsuit was rejected by the court. Later, Sang Soo was revealed to have been in a relationship with Kim Min Hee since 2015 after they met in the film Right Now, Wrong Then.

The baby may be registered on behalf of Hong Sang Soo's child or Kim Min Hee, but it can't be on behalf of the two because they are not married.

Currently, Hong Sang Soo and Kim Min Hee live together for nine years. In addition, Kim Min Hee only appears in films made by Hong such as The Day After, Hotel by the River, and The Woman Who Ran.

Kim Min Hee received an award at the 77th Locarno Film Festival for her role in last year's film By the Stream.
