Star Sowing, The 2025 Free Fire Squad Showdown Tournament Will Start January 25

JAKARTA - Starting in 2025, Garena will present the Clash Squad Free Fire Squad Showdown (FFSS) 2025 tournament as the latest addition to its esports calendar this year.

FFSS will present a duel for Free Fire's top professional esports team, including a surprise from the return of legendary players in this competition.

The inaugural edition of the FFSS will be attended by four invited teams from the FFWS SEA 2025 Spring, namely RRQ Kazu, Bigetron Delta, Onic Olympus, and EVOS Divine.

In addition, there is MBR Epsilon who will also join as a choice of Free Fire fans on Social Media, and also EVOS Esports legends will join the Old Legends team as the sixth team at FFSS.

The entire FFSS series will be divided into two phases and last for six weeks. The first phase is the Regular Season round which will be present on January 25, 2025-23 February 2025 using the Best of Three (BO3) game system.

The team that is able to occupy the top two rankings will advance to the final round on March 2 to compete in the Best of 7 (BO7) scheme. This tournament will be held in Double Round Robin format, meaning each team will compete against each other twice.
