Central Sulawesi Police Operations Task Force Narrows The Movement Space Of Radical Groups
The Madago Raya Operations Task Force (Satgas), Central Sulawesi Regional Police (Polda) continues to narrow the space for radicalist and intolerant groups in operating areas through classic patrols in Poso Regency.
"This patrol is to narrow the space for the spread of radical ideas that can disrupt public security and order in the area of operation," said Head of the Madago Raya Operations Preventive Task Force (Kasatgas) III Central Sulawesi Police Kombes Kurniawan Tandi Rongre in his official statement in Palu, Antara, Friday, January 17.
The Alfa 1 Team of the Madago Raya Operations Preventive Task Force III carried out classic lane patrols at a number of locations, namely former camps, gardens, forests, and mountains in the Sangginora area, Poso Pesisir Selatan District, Poso Regency.
This patrol aims to prevent the emergence of new training places that have the potential to be used by terrorist or radical groups. Patrols are carried out with full vigilance to monitor areas suspected of being hiding or places where radical groups move.
This patrol, he said, was to monitor and ensure that there were no activities of radicalism and intolerance groups that could potentially disrupt security stability in the region.
"We want to provide a sense of security to the community and ensure that the Poso area remains safe and conducive to all potential security disturbances," he said.
He said that the Madago Raya Task Force was committed to ensuring the area of operation remained safe.
