Pulisic Injured Again, AC Milan Needs Improved Fitness
JAKARTA - Christian Pulisic limped off due to injury in AC Milan's win over Como 2-1 in Serie A 2024/2025, Wednesday, January 15, 2025.
In fact, the United States midfielder had just recovered from a right calf muscle injury. Against Como, he grabbed his left calf and then pointed to his thigh after colliding with defender Marc-Oliver Kempf before halftime.
Pulisic ended up unable to continue the second half and was replaced by Alex Jimenez.
The 26-year-old player was immediately handled by Milan's medical staff. Although he was determined to leave the field on his own accord, Pulisic is now in doubt for an important match against Juventus on Sunday, January 19, 2025, early morning WIB.
"We need to increase the level of fitness. We need intensity for the game of football and now we are missing something," said AC Milan manager Sergio Conceicao.
