JAKARTA - Jens Raven expressed a positive impression when she first met Patrick Kluivert as the new coach of the Indonesian national team. The two met when the Dutch coach visited the U-20 Indonesian national team training session.
After being officially introduced on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, Kluivert immediately stepped on the gas to approach the Indonesian national team players, one of which visited the Indonesia U-20 exercise, Monday, January 14, 2025.
On that occasion, Kluivert had a brief chat with the players, including Jens Raven. The first meeting also impressed quite well for Raven.

"I think he will be very good with the Indonesian national team, as well as his assistant, there is Denny (Landzaat), Alex (Pastoor) who is also very good. I am sure I can go to the World Cup (2026)," he said again.
With a positive impression illustrated in the inaugural meeting, Raven was even more motivated to train harder.
He did not rule out the hope that Kluiver would be looked at and summoned to the Indonesian national team in the 2026 World Cup Qualification.
"Of course my goal is to be part of the senior team. It's like a dream if I can debut and appear in the Asian Cup and World Cup," said the striker.
Although publicly acknowledging the desire to move up to senior levels, Raven wants to focus first on the U-20 Indonesian national team which in the near future will appear in the 2025 U-20 Asian Cup.
"I am now in (Indonesian National Team) U-20. I will focus on (Indonesia) U-20. I am always ready and fit for the senior team," he said.
