Ministry Of PKP Godok Roadmap 3 Million Houses, Will Focus On FLPP Mortgages

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP) is preparing a road map or road map Program of 3 Million Houses as a work plan for the next five years.

PKP Minister Maruarar Sirait or Ara said this was a strategic step in order to achieve the target that would involve all stakeholders in the housing sector.

"One of them is focusing on the Home Ownership Credit program with the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (KPR FLPP) scheme which really helps the people to own a house," said Ara as quoted from his written statement, Thursday, January 16.

"Based on data from BP Tapera, since the Presidency of President Prabowo started at the end of October 2024 to January 5, a total of around 65,000 units have been running, either they have a contract or are ready stock," he continued.

Ara admitted that he would continue to encourage the determination of the National Strategic Project (PSN) for housing development in urban areas that are integrated with public transportation modes.

"Meanwhile, for Mr. Wamen (Fahri Hamzah) I ask to focus on interesting steps for foreign investors in developing houses," he said.

Meanwhile, Deputy Minister of PKP Fahri Hamzah said that his party was also finalizing the determination of echelon 1 officials who would lead each work unit that had been stipulated in the Organizational Structure and Laksana through the Regulation of the Minister of PKP Number 1 of 2024.

"Later, after filling the echelon 1 position, the Ministry of PKP's budget distribution will soon be set in each work unit, including the determination of the allocation of Self-Help Housing Stimulant Assistance (BSPS)," he said.
