The polemic that occurred in the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) organization officially ended with the National Conference on the Consolidation of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Anindya Bakrie and Arsjad Rasjid also shared their roles in the management of the organization.

Through the National Conference on the Consolidation of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Anindya Novyan Bakrie was appointed as Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the period 2024 to 2029. Meanwhile, Arsjad Rasjid became Chairman of the Advisory Council of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the same period.

Anindya and Arsjad also seemed furious until they embraced after the trial for the determination of Kadin's management. This moment also marks the unity of Kadin after going through the dynamics of the management in recent months.

In his speech, Anindya emphasized that the unity of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a must. He said with unity that the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry was compact.

"Together we are firm, our divorce will collapse. This is something we uphold with Pak Arsjad, that Kadin must be united. Because with Kadin being compact, we can run even further," said Anindya during a speech at the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Consolidation event, at Ritz-Carlton, Jakarta, Thursday, January 16.

Anindya said this unity was also in accordance with the direction of President Peabowo Subianto. He said a similar message was also conveyed by Prabowo to foreign investors.

"This is exactly the same as Mr. President Prabowo has a message to both of us, which was conveyed to foreign investors, that one thousand friends, too few, one community, too many. So this is what we hold firmly, and thank you," he said.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the Honorary Council of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Rosan Perkasa Roeslani hopes that the unity of Kadin can strengthen the contribution of business actors to the state. This includes cooperation between entrepreneurs and the government for the national economy.

"With our return, God willing, we will unite again, this will make Kadin not only in Jakarta, but all in the provinces, regencies, cities will function very, very optimally because we can run programs from the government together with the business world," said Rosan.
