There Are Still Victims Trapped On The 7th Floor, Glodok Plaza Fire Now Moving To The 8th And 9th Floors

JAKARTA - A number of fire engines belonging to the DKI Jakarta Gulkarmat Service are still making efforts to extinguish the fire that burned the Glodok Plaza building, West Jakarta.

In addition, Gulkarmat officers also continued to evacuate rescues for visitors trapped at the fire site.

"There are seven victims who are still trapped on the 7th floor, while continuing to evacuate," said Acting Head of the Jakarta Gulkarmat Service, Satriadi Gunawan, Wednesday, January 15.

Satriadi said the flames were spreading to other floors after burning the 7th floor of Glodok Plaza.

"Now (the fire) has spread to the 8th and 9th floors," he said.
