Irish Singer Linda Nolan Dies At The Age Of 65

JAKARTA - The international music scene has lost another legend. Linda Nolan, known as the vocalist of The Nolans, reportedly passed away today, January 15 morning local time.

The Irish singer died at the age of 65. The news was confirmed by his agent on the same day through an official statement.

"It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Linda Nolan, a well-known Irish pop legend, television character, West End star World Record holder of Guinness, Sunday Times best-selling author, and Daily Mirror columnist," said Dermot McNamara following The Mirror, January 15.

"He died at around 10:20 a.m. at Victoria's Blackpool Hospital in MCEW Ward. The family said the hospital couldn't do more, they were tireless and made things much easier to bear," the statement continued.

Linda Nolan lives with a history of severe illness. She was convicted of breast cancer in 2005, and her cancer was confirmed to have spread to the brain in 2023.

In 2007 he was declared clean of cancer, but apparently the disease came again in 2017. Since then his condition has slowly declined until he had to undergo several chemotherapys.

Linda Nolan is remembered as an inspirational figure for those closest to her. Her career as a member of The Nolans and various TV shows is a track record that will always be remembered.
