Commission III Of The DPR Will Call Bambang Hero RDP Together With Jampidsus To Discuss Tin Corruption Of IDR 271 Trillion

Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the DPR Hinca Panjaitan stated that his party would summon the Professor of the Faculty of Forestry IPB Bambang Hero Saharjo for a meeting with the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) of the Attorney General's Office regarding the calculation of state losses worth Rp271 trillion for the corruption case of tin trading in Bangka Belitung.

The reason is, Bambang is considered not to have the competence to calculate state financial losses which lead to reporting to the Babel Police.

"I thought about this by my friends, I will propose later the leadership of Commission III of the DPR if necessary Bambang Hero we will call together with the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes, so that it is open, don't encourage the public like this, this is a polemic that is not chaotic and the president also talks," said Hinca, Wednesday, January 15.

"So my friends are right to chase this, but to finish this, maybe the Commission III room is also important for Bambang Hero to explain that (about the calculation of state losses of Rp271 T)," he continued.

Regarding the assumption that Bambang Hero was criminalized because he was reported to the Babel Police, Hinca did not agree. Because according to him, the calculation regarding state losses worth Rp271 T was also not proven.

"I don't see this is a matter of criminalization or debate with the public, but what is clear is that this community gave the correct concern in this case so that he followed it and then slowly when the court broke up, the figure of Rp271 T was not proven, they reacted, right? That's not proven. Now someone is police, right," he said.

Therefore, the Democratic Legislator for the North Sumatra electoral district wants to hear a direct explanation from Bambang Hero and Jampidsus. Moreover, the Prosecutor's Office also installed a body for Bambang Hero's testimony in court.

"So tomorrow or on the occasion when Jampidsus comes, we ask who Bambang Hero is, why do you use it as an expert in calculating state losses in that sector, what the results are, how capable he is, not only that but also explaining the prosecutor's office with this learning to respect or place experts who can really prove the charges," explained Hinca.

"Well, when the indictment failed, people reacted, of course they could still appeal, who knows that the judges are different again, don't know because this is still not inkrah. But if I am asked, this is not a matter of criminalization, but a public reaction that is indeed so big, especially friends in Babylon," he continued.

Previously, in the RDP with Commission III of the DPR which was held today, the Chairman of the Regional Leadership Council (DPD) of the Bangka Belitung Place Boys Association (PERPAT), Andi Kusuma revealed that Bambang Hero was not clear when describing state losses of Rp271 trillion.

"Regarding Bambang Hero, there was a violation of the law, when the facts of the trial were asked he was lazy to answer," said Andi Kusuma in a meeting with Commission III of the DPR RI.

Andi said Bambang Hero did not have ethics in the trial when revealing the calculation of state losses by PT. Timah, Tbk.

"He did not carry out the oath of office. Does a professor have morals and ethics. This is the fate of many people to be payment for unemployment," he said.
