BDx Data Centers Announces Its Strategic Partnership With APJII

JAKARTA - BDx Data Centers, one of the data center operators in Indonesia, announced its strategic cooperation with the Indonesian Internet Service Providers Association (APJII) to strengthen Indonesia's digital ecosystem.

Through this partnership, APJII expanded the reach of Indonesia Internet Exchange (IIX) in the Jabodetabek area by launching a new IIX node on the CGK 3A campus belonging to BDx Indonesia located in South Jakarta.

This initiative aims to make the campus a digital center for internet traffic exchange, thereby increasing the resilience and efficiency of digital infrastructure in the region.

The CGK3A BDx Indonesia campus is specially designed for AI inference processing. The presence of IIX on the CGK 3A campus will enable optimal, direct, and high-speed connectivity between data centers and various networks, thereby reducing latency, and increasing data processing over time.

This will increase the response of AI models, and offer peer opportunities with other AI ecosystem partners, as well as encourage faster data distribution and better integration.

"This collaboration is more than just a form of partnership, this is a synergy aimed at bridging the digital divide, which emphasizes our shared commitment to strengthening Indonesia's digital backbone," said Sujit Panda, COO of BDx Data Centers in a statement received on Wednesday, January 15.

Meanwhile, the General Chairperson of APJII, Muhammad Arif, said that his partnership with the BDx Data Centers proves the focus of APJII in optimizing internet traffic, improving beneficial efficiency, and advancing the quality and security of Indonesia's digital infrastructure as a whole.

"Through this collaboration, we strive to pave the way for Indonesia's sustainable and resilient digital future," he added.
