Not Police, Perpetrators Of Nurse Abuse At Siloam Hospital Palembang Working As A Motorcycle Parts Seller
JAKARTA - The Head of South Sumatra Regional Police, Inspector General Eko Indra Heri S, spoke up following information about the perpetrator of the violence with the initials JT against nurses at Siloam Sriwijaya Hospital, Palembang, Thursday, April 15.
After the deepening was carried out, the perpetrator was not a member but a seller of vehicle parts. "The identity is a civilian who works as a motor vehicle spare parts trader," said Kapolda Eko Indra, quoted by Antara, Saturday, April 17.
JT has now been arrested and is being processed by investigators. The Palembang Police Team arrested the suspect at his house in the Kayu Agung area, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, Friday, April 16 last night.
Meanwhile, Kapolrestabes Palembang, Kombes Irvan Prawira stated that Jason Tjakrawinata or JT (38) was named a suspect in the case of mistreatment of nurses at Siloam Sriwijaya Hospital Palembang after undergoing investigations.
The suspect JT is now detained under layered articles related to maltreatment and damage to property in accordance with Article 351 of the Criminal Code with the threat of a sentence of 2 years and 8 months in prison.
Previously, the President Director of Siloam Hospital Sriwijaya Bona Fernando said that his party asked the police to process the parents of patients who were suspected of abusing their nurses in accordance with legal provisions.
"The management of Siloam Hospital regrets this incident and submitted the case to the police to investigate it thoroughly and take action against the perpetrators of violence against nurse Cr in accordance with the applicable law," said Bona.
Director of Nursing at Siloam Hospital Sriwijaya Tata added that Cr's nurse had bruises on her stomach and face as a result of the abuse.
"This persecution incident should not have happened. We, the management of Siloam Hospital, deeply regret what the perpetrator did, because we have tried to provide the best service for the treated patients," said Tata.
The incident initially occurred on Thursday at around 11.00 WIB. At that time, JT's child was treated at the scene. Because he was allowed to go home, the CR victim removed the infusion tube from the patient.
From the former infusion, the offender's child bleeds while being carried by his mother.
Seeing that the patient's hand was bleeding, the nurse immediately replaced the bleeding plaster, while stopping the blood on the patient's hand. The wife of JT reported this and made the offender emotional. He came to Siloam Hospital to abuse the nurse.
